teenagers make fun of anybody that isnt attractive by society’s definition. its a sad fact of life. i try to avoid others doing it as well as doing it myself. people should know that people arent made to be the same, we are made to be different.

Maybe these people need some incentive to lose weight..It is a lot better than dying from obesity related problems like heart attack.. I have been overweight for a while now..and some of my friends call me fat…..And guess what? they are right …I can deal with it…If I don’t want people to call me that I guess I could get off my fat but and do some exercising and lay off McDonald’s….

Sometimes they need a way to vent anger they have kept inside, maybe they have issues of their own and sometimes they just do it because apparently people who are overweight a different (I don’t believe in that) the bet thing to do is just ignore it.

I havn’t experience that. My friend from school is really over weight and no one is ever mean to her or makes fun of her. There are only about 2 people in my year level at school who are over weight and none of them are picked on.

I think people just feel a bit sorry for them. I’m not over weight but I can sympathise with them. I know that it’s not their fault (they’re both Maori so their genetics are against them).

I’m 17 and I think when teenagers get older they don’t really worry about their peers, they’re more concerned in their own appearance.

They bully, make fun of other kids because of their own insecurity issues and low self esteem, it makes them feel better about themselves and it makes them feel cool and of course they love the attention. In reality it just goes to show how many problems they actually have!
I had a very bad childhood and growing up i also had really low self esteem and severe insecurity issues and I too was a bully in all aspects, it made me feel better about myself when instead it was hurting others and doing me no good. Which at that time i didn’t realize and of course now i feel guilty over the way i treated others including my own brothers and sisters.
So the best thing to do when being bullied by others is just to ignore them, eventually they will get bored and stop probably moved onto somebody else. It’s alright, what goes around comes around and they will soon re-live the pain that they brought unto others that is if there not already:)

i went somewhere where this one kid (I’m talkin’ like 200+ pounds here 9 years old…) had three chins, a massive stomach, waddled and had trouble breathing.

He was starring at a brownie display for some time before asking his mother for “some” not one. “SOME” of the sweets…And they were those jumbo brownies. The mom was talking to someone, so she just shooed him aside.

The look on that little boys face when he was denied those brown squares was utterly priceless and unbelieveable. This kid went OFF. His huge cheeks got red while he boomed “BUT MOM, YOU SAID I COULD HAVE BROWNIES!!!!!!! I WANT BROWNIES!!!! I’M HUNGRYYYYYYYYYYY…!!!!”

He started stomping and pouting and when his mom ignored him more… he HIT her thigh, demanding food. Well, this caused a little scene and the boy knew it. He started screaming some more and made his way over to the sweets stand. When his mom said he’d have to pay for them, he said “You always do…” and and started eating one, at the same time grabbing for another, giving her a “I wish you’d do somethin’” look.

Lets just say he got ********.

if only it were only overwieght people…but its not…people make fun of people just b/c it raises their self esteem, or to look cool, but its dumb.

they laugh at me b/c im different, but i laugh at them, cuz theyre all the same

because they arent raised with manners by there parents. when kids are overweight if its not a medical condition, its the parents fault period. my cousins are overweight and its ridiculous. when you are so obese and cant breath cant walk and its due to just over eating, thats sad its so bad on your heart ive seen shows when kids at 6 yo weigh 100 pounds andthe parents are big too, americans can be lazy too much eating out and fried foods these kids arent born like this its created. its not healthy. did you know that for the first time in history there are young kids that have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and sleep apnia?
making fun of overweight kids is stupid it serves no purpose again it falls on the parents. i wen to a buffet last weekend this teenage girl about 14 had to been about 200 pounds I watched her cut in line to get her 4th serving of fried chicken then she had 2 bowls of ice cream she was there before me and when i left an hour later she was still there. she loved that salt shaker too. her mom and siblings were big as well.
what happens if we go into a state of emergency and they have to evacuate and be without food what will happen to them? if you are 200 pounds at 14 how much will u weigh at 19 and 30? I gained 100 pounds with my baby and in 6 months i was back to my weight cause i refuse tobe unhealthy. i may get robbed and how the heck would i be able to jump fences and take off if im barely able to walk?
